Scottsdale-Based Petsense Wins the 2010
Cardinal Crystal Award for Retail Grooming Salon of the Year with More
than 5 Salons at
SuperZoo 2011
AZUSA, Calif. –
National pet retailer Petsense has been awarded the 2010 Cardinal
Crystal Award for Retail Grooming Salon of the Year with More than 5
Salons, presented in a ceremony September 13, 2001 at the SuperZoo 2011
pet retailer trade show at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada. The
Cardinal Crystal Awards, which are sponsored by pet product manufacturer
Cardinal Pet Care, are like the Oscars of the pet world, honoring the
year’s best and most creative dog groomers in the country.
The award for Retail Grooming
Salon with More than 5 Salons is awarded
to the retail grooming salon that maintains the highest standards of
professionalism and customer service. The winning grooming salon will
have proven to be a positive reflection on the dog grooming industry by
engaging in activities that promote awareness and appreciation for
grooming services among the pet owning public. Petsense has shown that
it best exemplifies these criteria, through its interactions with
customers and dogs, as well as its high grooming standards and
exceptional knowledge and skill among its groomers.
”It
is a privilege and honor to receive the prestigious Cardinal Crystal
Award on behalf of our grooming associates nationwide,” said Bob
Angstead, Director, President & CEO of Petsense. “We very much value
the relationship we have with our customers and their pets. Thank you!”
This is the first year for the
Retail Grooming Salon of the Year award, which is split into two
categories – More than 5 Salons, and Fewer than 5 Salons. Also new to
this year’s Cardinal Crystal Awards is the Mobile Groomer of the Year
award.
Headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, Petsense was founded by
Jim Daugherty, filling a void for pet lovers who live in rural areas and
providing products and services not available at other retailers.
Today, the growing company has 44 stores in 14 states, and 40 of those
locations have grooming salons.
Cardinal Pet Care
