Christine Pawlosky - The David G.
Salzberg Award |
Christine was recognized for
Rescue
Rodeo. The Rescue Rodeo Dog Grooming Contest was created by
Chris and she organized the event for the Superzoo 08 Show
in Las Vegas. Chris selected dogs from the local Vegas area
shelters for Rescue Rodeo. Contestants (professional
groomers) used their talent and love to transform the dogs
into clean, well-groomed pets ready to find forever homes.
With the help of attention from the local TV and Radio media
in Las Vegas many of the dogs from Rescue Rodeo were adopted
during the weekend. Chris created a positive presentation of
Professional Groomers and their talents to the public as
well as performing a service for the shelters (and our
industry) by arranging to have the dogs adopted during the
weekend. Chris plans to extend the Rescue Rodeo to other
